Please note: This webinar will be conducted in Chinese and is open to all.
About the webinar / 關於網路研討會
Fragility fractures have an enormous socioeconomic impact globally, yet most patients continue to be denied access to effective secondary fracture prevention interventions after suffering a fragility fracture. Fracture Liaison Services (FLS) have been recommended as the optimal method for closing this gap in care. However, to be effective, an FLS requires optimal identification, assessment, initiation and monitoring of therapy. The IOF Best Practice Recognition programme evaluates the quality of services within this framework to ensure an FLS delivers to a standard to close this care gap.
This webinar is presented by Professor Ding-Cheng (Derrick) Chan, Superintendent at National Taiwan University Hospital Chu-Tung Branch, and moderated by Prof. Paulo, Chih-Hsing Wu, President of the Taiwanese Osteoporosis Association (TOA). They both come with extensive expertise on how to implement an FLS in a health-care setting.
